This website is run by the Lausatia & Silesia Foundation, which is restoring the Mon Plaisir tower in Pobiedna. Below, we explain what data we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do with it. The website does not use analytics, does not profile visitors and does not display adverts.

Contact form
We collect: your first name and surname, email address, the type of support you have selected, and the content of your message.
Purpose and legal basis: to respond to your enquiry and, where applicable, to agree the terms of our cooperation – Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (our legitimate interest in conducting correspondence). Giving your consent to be contacted falls under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.
The message is stored in the website’s database and sent to our inbox. We keep it for as long as it takes to resolve the matter, but for no longer than 3 years from the last contact.
Entry in the register of barristers
We collect: your first name and surname, or the name you specify for publication, and your email address.
Purpose and legal basis: publication of your first name and surname on the list of patrons – solely on the basis of your consent, Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. Your email address is used solely to confirm your registration and will not be published.
We retain your data until you withdraw your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us – we will then remove your details from the list. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out prior to its withdrawal.
Payments
The Foundation does not accept payments via this website and does not collect payment details. The ‘Donate’ button redirects you to the zrzutka.pl website, which is a separate data controller and has its own privacy policy. The same applies to bank transfers and the 1.5% tax deduction – in these cases, you provide your details directly to the bank or the tax office, not to us.
Server logs
The server records standard logs: IP address, date and time of the request, the URL of the page visited, and browser information. These are used solely for security and diagnostic purposes – Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. They are stored by our hosting provider.
Access map
The „Visit” page features a map based on OpenStreetMap. When the map comes into view, your browser downloads tiles from the OpenStreetMap Foundation’s servers and transmits your IP address to them. This is based on our legitimate interest in showing the route to the tower – Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The tiles themselves do not store anything on your device. If you do not scroll down to the map, no request is sent.
Who we share data with
- the hosting provider whose servers host this website,
- email service providers through which we receive messages from forms,
- to entities authorised under the law, should they so request.
We do not sell or share data for marketing purposes. We do not transfer data outside the European Economic Area.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it rectified, to have it erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Where we process data on the basis of consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.
Automatic decisions
We do not make automated decisions about you, nor do we profile you.
Changes
If we change the way the website operates, we will amend this document and note the date of the update.
